Our Roses - The Excellence of Ecuadorian Roses | Mes Fleurs
The Excellence of
Ecuadorian Roses
The preserved roses used in creating the bouquets at Mes Fleurs
are magnificent premium roses originated from Ecuador,
one of the largest roses producing countries in the world.
The Origin of Our Preserved Roses
Ecuadorian roses are recognized as being among the most beautiful and refined in the world.
Ecuador, found on South America’s west, coast, is situated right
near the equator where the roses grown there receive more hours of daylight
than anywhere else. The diverse landscapes spreading
across the land offer optimal and unique natural conditions
for the roses to grow and flourish, giving birth to the gorgeous Ecuadorian roses that we used at Mes Fleurs.
It is in this unique terroir that Ecuadorian roses are born,
renowned for their spectacular beauty, strong stems and generous blooms. Each Ecuadorian rose is therefore selected
for its capacity to create truly remarkable and unforgettable floral arrangements.
Preserved Roses of Exceptional Size
Ecuadorian roses is considered as one of the finest roses
in the world. In order to create the most stunning and remarkable bouquets,
we work with these roses with particularly luscious size that
stand out for their elegance and visual impact.
Each rose selected as the central flower in our arrangements has a minimum diameter of 6 to 7 cm, about the size of a large apple.
Thanks to their generous volume, our roses fit perfectly
into their role of centre piece in the bouquet and give an impressive presentation for important gifts, without being obscured by an excess of foliage, other supporting flowers, or roses in smaller sizes.
This exceptional size is ideal for exceptional gifts and special occasions, giving our bouquets an
incomparable presence and a particularly elegant presentation.
A Palette of Infinite Colours
From iconic red to delicate pink,
from immaculate white to vibrant orange, through sophisticated blue and deep
black, each hue tells a story: love, passion,
purity, friendship, gratitude, and even new beginnings.
Our preserved roses are not simply air-dried. Each natural rose
undergoes a professional preservation process designed to preserve
its beauty, shape, and texture for the long term.
To achieve certain shades that do not occur naturally
in roses, or to make certain colors more uniform, food-grade dyes are used during the preservation process. This technique is a carefully mastered preservation skill
in floristry, including for fresh flowers, making it possible to create a rich and distinctive colour palette.
Among more than 500 varieties of roses grown in Ecuador,
we devote valuable time to selecting shades that
are perfectly aligned with our aesthetic vision, preferring the most harmonious, refined, and timeless hues.
